An Intellectual Celebration – The Grand Finale of “What? Where? When?”

The intellectual marathon at BGS concluded with a festive grand finale. Following a series of intense competitions between the school houses, two teams composed of outstanding thinkers from Grades 9 – 12 – “Celts” and “Colchians” – faced each other in the decisive match. Out of the four houses, these two teams earned the right to compete in the final and delivered a truly remarkable intellectual duel.
The evening gained additional prestige thanks to the host of the event, the school’s history teacher, Giga Chaligava, who is an experienced member and expert participant of the elite intellectual club. After 15 questions conducted according to the classic “What? Where? When?” format, the score was tied, making an extra round necessary to determine the winner.
After a tense battle, the “Celts” emerged victorious. Each participant earned 50 points for their house, while the “Colchians” added 30 points to their house’s total in recognition of their commendable performance.
We are proud of our young thinkers, who once again proved that learning at BGS is always exciting, engaging, and inspiring.
