We are pleased to announce that a memorandum of understanding has been signed between the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement of Georgia and the international educational organization Pearson Education. The agreement provides official recognition in Georgia of Pearson’s education programmes, further strengthening the quality and accessibility of international education.
Importantly, qualifications earned through completion of Pearson qualifications will now be recognized as equivalent to a full general education diploma in Georgia. This decision creates new opportunities for students participating in international programmes, both locally and internationally.
BGS is the only school that has successfully implemented Pearson qualifications for many years and continues to promote international educational standards. This recognition is especially meaningful and rewarding for us, as it reflects the result of many years of dedication and work by our school community.
A particularly important role in this process was played by our School Headmistress, Eka Kvachantiradze, and Emeritus Director, Dr. Christopher Greenfield, whose vision and tireless dedication have long supported the development of high-quality international education. We are proud that the direction our school has pursued for many years has now received recognition at the national level.
