Charity Fair at BGS
On the occasion of St. George’s Day, BGS held its traditional Charity Fair. The event was dedicated to the memory of our student, Nika Meskhi, and its primary purpose was to support the school’s sponsored child, Tsotne Mikutishvili.
The charity event was officially opened by twelfth-grade students Mariam Davituliani and Alexandre Labadze. Since the introduction of the House System, it has become a school tradition for student leaders to ceremonially open major school events.
The entire school community actively participated in the initiative. An open-air exhibition and sale featured ceramics, artwork, and handmade crafts created by students during their art and ceramics lessons. A special highlight of the event was a photography exhibition by tenth-grade student Luka Lobzhanidze, which he personally accompanied with a musical performance.
Funds were also raised through a special café organized for guests, where senior students sold homemade desserts and dishes. Students had the opportunity to participate in a mini chess tournament, educational games, and a raffle, with prizes generously provided by parents.
The festive atmosphere was enhanced by special guests, including Zaliko Sulakauri and students from the Theatre University.
It is noteworthy that alumni and parents participate in this charity event every year. BGS extends its sincere gratitude to every guest for their kindness, generosity, and support.
