The leadership of St. George’s Georgian-British School BGS attended an official reception hosted by His Excellency Gareth Ward, the British Ambassador to Georgia, on 8 October. The event celebrated the official approval of Pearson Edexcel International Qualifications in Georgia.
The occasion was particularly significant for BGS, as the school is a pioneer of British education in the country and the first to introduce Pearson Edexcel programmes in Georgia.
BGS is the only school in Georgia offering the full range of Pearson Edexcel iProgress programmes, from primary education through to pre-university qualifications.
With over 23 years of experience in delivering international programmes, BGS continues to uphold the highest standards of education. As an official Pearson examination centre, the school opens doors for its students to pursue further education at leading universities around the world.
The reception provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen partnerships and foster future collaboration between the British Embassy, Pearson, and representatives of the education sector, while reaffirming BGS’s longstanding and ongoing contribution to the development of British education in Georgia.
