An Evening of Poetry and Music
Grade VI students visited the house museum of the distinguished Georgian composer Zakaria Paliashvili. They explored historical exhibits, the composer’s manuscripts, opera musical scores, and personal belongings.
The students then read excerpts from The Knight in the Panther’s Skin, sonnets by Shakespeare, and poems by Byron, Eliot, Pushkin, Fet, Tsvetaeva, and Tyutchev.
The evening was enriched by musical performances featuring works by Beethoven and Mozart. It was truly a warm and memorable event.
