Following British school tradition, BGS introduced its new House system, dividing students into four Houses:two Georgian (Iberians, Colchians) and two British (Brits, Celts), named after ancient tribes. We created unique visual identities — flags, crests, shirts, and colors — for each House. Every student received their House shirt. We selected a Head Girl and Head Boy, and each House elected captains from Primary and Secondary, along with a teacher to serve as House Coordinator. From now on, competitions will be held not between classes but between Houses. Teachers award points to students for various activities, which accumulate towards the House total. Every Monday, the entire school eagerly awaits the updated scoreboard. The purpose of the House system is to teach children teamwork through acts of kindness and, ultimately,to earn points for the end-of-year House Cup.
